Comcast Corporation (formerly registered as Comcast Holdings) is an American telecommunications conglomerate headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is the second-largest broadcasting and cable television company in the world by revenue and the largest pay-TV company, the largest cable TV company and largest home Internet service provider in the United States, and the nation's third-largest home telephone service provider. Comcast provides services to U.S. residential and commercial customers in 40 states and in the District of Columbia. As the parent company of the international media company NBCUniversal since 2011,Comcast is a producer of feature films and television programs intended for theatrical exhibition and over-the-air and cable television broadcast, respectively.

Dara angrily shared her experience with Comcast, "If I could give less than one star I would. They are despicable. They have no interest in helping you or your business. My business was closing, I went to Comcast in good faith to explain the situation and what I needed and they agreed. When it came time they locked me into a 3 year contract and are trying to charge me $3000 termination fee. I might sue them. At a minimum they are not getting that fee from me. Don't ever do business with them!"

"Coworker will stabbed in your back. Talked about you. Supervisor is very rude. Upper Management very rude to there employees. They don't care about you"

Senior Advance Technician (Former Employee) says

"Work-life balanceIt is not even considered to be a part of total we'll beingPay & benefitsInadequateJob security and advancementThey are biased and not performance baseManagementManagement, specially senior Management aren't aware of the ongoings in the customer service level employeeCultureLow moraleOverallHaving the worse customer service rating in the whole country for.several years, reflect the inside structure of how things are in it's operation. Disarray and dog eat dog world between employees. Comcast works on the bottom line that is some, profit by all means and not customer satisfaction. Employee a are just pawns in this money making scam."

Communications Technician (Former Employee) says

"I was harassed, mismanaged, and put in a job where I was over qualified, and over worked until my back went out. Then I was denied short term benefits, long term benefits, then laid off, without ever even considering me for the job for which I was most suited. .NoneWorst job I have ever had."

Cable Technician (Former Employee) says

"Sure you get discounted cables but they control your raises with ignorant metrics that are out of your control. People not being home, someone turning tv to wrong input, mother nature the list just goes on and on and on and corporate could care less about you your just a number."

Inside Sales Representative (Current Employee) says

"● Work-life balanceWork-life balance at Comcast is horrible, always stressed out● Pay & benefitsMy pay and benefits at Comcast are not worth the stress● Job security and advancementIn terms of job security at Comcast, I think nothing was good enough for them● ManagementIn general, managers at Comcast robots● OverallMy experience working at Comcast the worst job I ever had!!!!"

Comcast Technician (Current Employee) says

"This company has poor management that doesn’t give a single **** about you, he’s only worried about themselves. They overwork you demanding you do so much, even if your stuck on a job, so be ready to stay at a customers home til 9 o’clock at night. They don’t give sympathy to those who are in struggling situations, they’re only worried about themselves again. They don’t try to help you move up, you have to constantly ask if you can, then you’ll get rejected. If you go into this job especially in Middle Tennessee, be prepared to be constantly put down, and no matter how good you do, management is never happy. Again the poorest management, rudest co workers, and overall not worth working here."

Representative (Former Employee) says

"i have nothing to say about the experience except it was a waste of my time to do anything there.. waste of time with poor payment and bad management that never carednonebad"

CSP (Former Employee) says

"Let's say a typical day with Comcast was a nightmare. I learned how not to be to the customers when Ihave my own business. The people that were suppose to be of a help to you were rude!! Made you feel stupid like we should know things after 9 days of class. I enjoyed meeting new people in the class training sesions that is all!!!! If you can find another place to work or if you are saved and filled with the Holy Ghost find you a Christian based job because them folks will make you hold on to Jesus even tighter. It was work from home convienceTHEY NEED NICER PEOPLE WORKING FOR THE company that have a heart and patience for others"

Technical Support (Former Employee) says

"I do not recommend working for this company. They put profit before customer and employee. Training could be more detailed. Too much gossip. If the company spent more time trying to satisfy the customer instead of making money they wouldn't have such a high turnover rate. Train your employees accordingly pleaseNoneEverything. Read the summary"

CAE IT Tech Support (Former Employee) says

"Even though it's been a few years since working at Comcast, I can UNFORTUNATELY remember it like yesterday. It was SO terrible infact that when I have to drive anywhere near that place I immediately get sick to my stomach and have to control myself from having a panic attack. If you want to work at a place where there's favortism and clicks, or you're CONSTANTLY being criticized and watched for every and anything, or if you're 1 minute late you're being reprimanded, or just because you don't agree with something, watch the same show, like the same things, or speak your own mind and than be ostracized for it, than apply and work for Comcast. It's a paycheck, free serviceEverything"

Technical Repair Representative (Former Employee) says

"Management expects off the clock work supervisors are lazy and unhelpful. They expect tech repair staff to make sales. No respect for staff. Not enough sick leave or PTO. Have to wait 3 months to qualify for health insurance NoneEverything"

Business Account Executive (Current Employee) says

"5 years in the company I can tell you that if you going to work here get ready to see a lot of unfair things, there is LOTS of favoritisms you have to become a major A.. K...... In Miami Florida the director is a major liar that always covers his lies by blaming everything on you. Making quota here is extremely hard you lose sales to website, inbound calls, outbound calls, authorized retailers and many times you lose sales because the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing YES departments such as Construction, techs and back office don't communicate well. Your quota as a BAE1 is 2400 in revenue and most orders now a days only pay you around 100 to 150 so do the numbers how many orders you have to sale to make quota and keep in mid you don't get any leads. (only some "special reps" get free leads)Comcast is well known for its bad reputation of bad customer services and yes they don't give a S... about it, its the same thing with their employees I swear speaking up to HR will only get you in more trouble."

Direct Sales Representative (Former Employee) says

"When I applied to work for Comcast I was so excited about the position they were offering, thir interviews were very long and it took more than 3 months to hire me, The reason I waited for this long and didn't look for another job is because I thought it might be a good company to work for, but was wrong. I wouldn't recommend this job to any one.Not sureNot sure"

Xsp (Former Employee) says

"The company tries to make people think it’s a great place to work but what they do is brainwash the employees to make them think there is no other company to get the benefits they offer or the money. The place says they have a open door policy but if your not in line with what they want or if you have a mind of your own it’s a problem and your negative. Much happier not working there! I could on and on about this placeGood benefitsHorrible culture and place to work"

Senior Operations Supervisor NCAR (Former Employee) says

"At the approval of the Company VP, I conducted a study on trust for a doctoral dissertation. It was done on Survey Monkey by employees. Unfortunately for the company the results were rather poor reflecting the lack of trust between the workers and the management in the workplace. When the study was complete I took the results to the VP and management team. They were in denial and angry about the results. Subsequently I was terminated along with several other older employees (50-60+) with seniority who were identified as my peers. The dissertation was published as a part of my completion of the Doctorate of Management and Leadership. Comcast never gave me a favorable recommendation after that even though my work performance prior to the study was favorable. This company treats its employees very badly.Company's commitment to give back to the community.Everything else."

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"No support. Training sucks. Did not understand the customer's bill to explain it to them. Angry customer and everyone passing the customer along. Not a friendly environment."

PowerPoint Specialist (Former Employee) says

"If aholes could fly, Comcast would be an airport. No communication, no management skills. Hands down the worst job I've ever had, and I've cleaned toilets for a living."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Manager was MIA most of the time. No flexibility for schedule. Culture is to yell at customers and coworkers. Toxic environment. Stabbing in the back.Bonus checkSchedule, management, environment, customers, coworkers, benefits, job security"

Sales Representative (Current Employee) says

"Hostile work environment! Managers don’t care about anything but you making them a fat check by ripping off customers into buying services they don’t want or need. You have to pressure customers into buying something or simply sneak it in without them knowing even if they’re wanting a lower bill. Management doesn’t care unless you are selling. Can’t wait to leave this place. It’s micromanaged100% Stressful and unrealistic goals"

Communication Technician (Current Employee) says

"Lots of favoritism. Dealing with unhappy customers is not the hard part. Dealing with management is. You can be a great tech and still lose your job because someone does not like you. And you can be a terrible tech as long as you’re constantly kissing you know what."
